In 2022, the owners of a chain of Georgian bakeries decided to refresh their brand. They set us the task of preserving the soul of tradition while bringing a new energy into the space.
The first location in Wrocław was a true challenge. Housed in a historic building with high ceilings, concrete floors and large wooden windows, the space already had character — all we had to do was highlight it. We brightened the walls, preserved the original ceiling and flooring, and added warm wooden panels to key areas.
The brand identity came alive in the details: green chairs and accents, illustrations inspired by Georgian culture, and a recognizable logo placed in the cashier area designed as a decorative “window.” Natural materials, rattan baskets, live plants and cone-shaped pendant lamps softened the atmosphere and created a sense of comfort.
The second location we designed did not have such a strong architectural base. It was a relatively new space with existing floor tiles that the clients wanted to keep, and a stretch ceiling with standard lighting. Here, we focused on shaping the space itself. The cashier area was placed in the central zone, becoming both a functional element and the visual ending of the showcase. Into this interior, we integrated the same brand identity and signature details to ensure visual continuity.
As a result, two very different locations — one historic, one modern — were united by a single design language. Both bakeries-cafés now reflect Georgian hospitality combined with European ease and contemporary aesthetics.
