Cafe “Briosh”

Area: 47 m²
Year of Creation: 2020

In 2020, our clients approached us with a request to redesign an existing café. We rarely take on such projects, but this time the deciding factor was the building itself — a historic space with high windows that had enormous potential.

The previous interior was too dark, leaning more towards bar aesthetics rather than a café. We kept the floor tiles, as they had a beautiful rhythm, but abandoned the heavy finishes — repainting dark surfaces in lighter tones. We introduced furniture made of warm wood, textiles in soft shades, mirrors, classic wall moldings, and lamps with fringed shades that brought a touch of retro charm.

A special highlight became the central area with a round table. We designed an opening in the middle of the table for greenery — this solution allowed us to literally “weave” nature into the interior, creating a living and unique element.

The atmosphere of the café changed dramatically after the redesign. Instead of heavy bar-like aesthetics, the space transformed into a light fusion with hints of classic and natural accents. The combination of exposed brick, wood, soft gray furniture, and live plants made the space warm, cozy, and at the same time stylish. It is a place with character, where people come not only for coffee but also for the special atmosphere.
