House with Ethnic Motifs
This home is about earth, silence, and the natural rhythm of life. The concept is built on a contemporary space with subtle ethnic references that do not decorate but shape a sense of authenticity through textures, proportions, and the warmth of natural materials.
The double-height dining area became the heart of the house — a space where the sky seems to flow inside. Light circulates freely, creating a shifting play of shadows and a feeling of openness. Walls in warm sand tones, stone flooring with a soft pattern, and linen curtains form a calm foundation where materials resonate rather than compete.
The kitchen is tactile and alive: natural veneer, stone, matte fronts, and a dark marble insert. A clean lighting line emphasizes thoughtful minimalism that remains warm and inviting. The dining area serves as a focal point: a solid table with rounded forms, terracotta chairs, and a rattan pendant reinterpret ethnic design in a contemporary way — expressive yet restrained.
The textured fireplace wall acts as a sculptural element. Nearby, a bouclé armchair invites quiet moments. The entire interior is built on a balance of light and shadow, natural and crafted. The children’s room is filled with light and soft lines. A birch plywood lamp and a macramé rug introduce handcrafted touches and a connection to tradition.
In the bathroom, deeply textured stone and a raw stone sink become the central feature — celebrating imperfection and authenticity. The interior breathes calm. Every detail supports the idea of a home where modernity has a soul and tradition takes on a new form.
