Enelmed Mother and Child Clinic — ward for the youngest
After designing the space for teenagers, we collaborated with the Polish architectural company Archimed to create the interiors of the ward for younger children at Enelmed. The main goal was to build an atmosphere of tenderness and safety — one that soothes young patients while offering comfort to their parents.
We chose a palette of soft pastels: warm beige, sky blue, and gentle yellow. These tones shape a bright, cosy interior reminiscent of a child’s bedroom. The walls are decorated with illustrations of clouds, the moon, and stars — familiar motifs that evoke calm and a sense of rest.
Rounded furniture, soft seating, shelves with toys, and gentle lighting all contribute to a child-friendly environment. For parents, we designed comfortable lounge areas with sofas, coffee tables, and greenery to make waiting less stressful.
This ward proves that a hospital doesn’t have to feel cold or intimidating. Instead, it can radiate warmth, softness, and play — turning the medical environment into a therapeutic space where children feel cared for from the very first moment.
