This project became a true adventure for us. The client approached us with the idea of creating a bakery café in one of Wrocław’s shopping centers and immediately emphasized that the space had to feel unique — combining coziness, distinctive furniture, and contemporary accents.
We were warned that the mall administration was extremely strict and rarely approved concepts on the first submission. This time, however, the opposite happened — the project was approved immediately.
A key requirement was to use furniture sourced from vintage stores. We worked remotely, reviewing photos and videos to select chairs, tables, mirrors, and partitions. Thanks to the client’s own restoration workshop, each piece was given a second life. We carefully selected upholstery fabrics to ensure a cohesive and harmonious interior.
A special highlight of the space is the piano. Musicians occasionally perform here, and the live sound creates a warm atmosphere that brings people together and adds soul to the café.
To prevent the interior from feeling like a random collection of objects, we balanced vintage elements with contemporary details: bold wall panels, MDF panels with classic carving in the cashier area, and patterned tiles on the kitchen backsplash.
The result is a stylish, warm, and cohesive space — unlike a furniture showroom or a typical mall café. After opening, the owner noted a significant increase in visitors. Guests come not only for desserts but also for the special mood that the café itself creates.
